Cat Boarding I offer to board your
feline friend in my immaculate, loving, 900 square foot North Vancouver home,
one at a time (or two cats if they live together now), while you are
temporarily away. I will cater to your
cat by giving one-on-one attention and making him/her feel purrrrfectly “at
home”. I will pet, play with, feed /
water, scoop, brush, and follow established rituals. Having previously owned
cats, I know how to provide yours with a safe, quiet, and comfortable
environment. Because I spend a lot
of time at home, I would treat your cat as if it was mine and give him/her
lots of play time. |

Susan, the Cat Caterer I am a responsible,
quiet, mature non-smoker, and maintain a healthy lifestyle by day-hiking,
skiing, kayaking, cycling, and walking.
After 38 years of office administration, I retired in January 2008. I love cats! I inherited my first cat when the previous
owners of my house left their cat, Muffy,
behind. After we both recovered from
the shock that we would live together, we quickly bonded. When Muffy
died, I missed having my friend at my feet.
A year later, friends gave me Holly,
who quickly became the community cat and introduced me to neighbours I didn’t
know I had. When Holly passed away in October 2008, I made the decision to care
for other peoples’ cats, one at a time, while their owners travel. |

“Holly” What To Do You and your cat can
see what I have to offer in a free initial consultation in my home. This would give your cat an opportunity to
interview me and check out the potential accommodations. If you, your cat,
and I determine that your cat’s stay would be a good fit, we can discuss
specifics like food type, feeding frequency, toys and rituals. You and I will then complete a contract,
and finally, you will complete a veterinary release form. Stipulations
– your friendly, healthy, indoor cat must be litter-box trained, flea free,
and must only scratch a scratching post.
Sorry, I do not administer medications. What’s the Cost? $20 per day. A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable
upon booking, and the remainder will be paid on the cat’s move-in date. Also, a $100 pet damage deposit is payable
upon booking, which is refundable, when the cat is picked up. All installments are to be made in cash. I hope to have your
cat grace my home, and give you comfort that your cat will enjoy his / her
vacation! |
